The Parent Council was formed in the summer term 2016. We are a group of parents who have children within the school. Our role is to encourage the partnership between parents and the school, and to promote and support parents in taking a more active role in their children's learning and development.
The Parent Council will act as a voice for the parents/carers putting forward any ideas or views they may have regarding the school environment and children's learning. We aim to help create an environment where all parents know their view matters. We may also be involved with revising existing school policies.
We hold regular meetings to discuss what we will be focusing on, and there will also be regular newsletters to keep you up to date, so keep as eye out for these.
If you would like to become a part of the Parent Council Team, please contact your child's Parent Council representative or let us know via our Parent Council Facebook page, which is 'Timbercroft Parent Council'.
