Home Learning Projects
Following the Government's decision to close school in light of the Corona Virus as of Monday 23rd March, we will be updating this page with home learning for each year group:
We would like to remind you that the most important thing at this time is your child’s health and wellbeing, alongside your own and our staff. There is no expectation that every single task set is completed, please organise your timetable to suit your home lives - including your own working from home needs - and complete the tasks that you are able to.
Online Learning Platforms
All children have been given their personal log in details to the following online learning platforms. These sites will be checked by your child's teachers daily and they will set new tasks for children as they complete the work set. Please click on the images below:
Google Classroom has now been set up for the children to share their learning. As you can imagine using a new online platform is a massive task to undertake for both the children and our staff, especially during this time of emergency, so please bear with us as we continue to develop and navigate a new way of working for children, parents and staff.
Project based Learning
Project number 1: we would like the children to watch programmes such as ‘Blue Planet’ and create a PowerPoint or word document that can be shared electronically on their return. Please share your children’s learning with us on twitter (if you are able to), tapestry or google classroom.
Further Projects: each year group has created 2 week project plans linked to the national curriculum for that year group, these will be uploaded for the Monday morning at the start of each new project.
- EYFS - please upload the work to Tapestry.
- KS1 & KS2 - please upload the work to Google Classroom.
- If you are able to please continue to share examples of your children's work on twitter for our whole school family to see.

Thank you to all of you for your contributions to our whole school topic to celebrate VE Day. This is our collaborative video with Millennium; we hope you are as moved by it as we all are. Timbercroft, we will meet again Project Video
Online Safety At Home Activity Packs:
thinkuknow.co.uk has created resources to support parents during Covid-19 and the closure of schools. Each Fortnight, they will release new home activity packs with simple 15 minute activities you can do with your child to support their online safety at home.
